How our virtual practice works and what to expect.

Patients select a service, complete intake forms, and meet with a provider virtually when appropriate. Prescriptions may be sent electronically when clinically indicated.

No. Sankofa Health & Wellness is a cash-pay practice with transparent pricing. Insurance is not required.

If your condition is not appropriate for telemedicine or falls outside our scope of practice, we will discuss the next best steps for your care. Refunds may be provided in accordance with our refund policy.

If we determine that your condition cannot be appropriately treated through our telehealth platform, a refund may be available in accordance with our refund policy.

Absolutely. Sankofa Health & Wellness is fully HIPAA-compliant. All consultations are conducted on AES-256 encrypted, HIPAA-compliant platforms. Your data is never sold and is only shared with providers directly involved in your care.

Most patients are seen within 24–48 hours of booking. Same-day availability may be possible depending on schedule. Book early in the day for the best chance at same-day or next-day appointments.

We require at least 24 hours’ notice. Call +1(302) 393-5546 or email info@sankofahealthandwellness.com. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a $50 fee. Eligible refunds are processed within 5–7 business days.

Prescriptions are sent electronically to your preferred pharmacy when clinically appropriate.
Yes. All prescriptions are sent electronically and accepted at CVS, Walgreens, Walmart, Rite Aid, and all major US pharmacies.
Prescription timing varies based on the visit and clinical review. When prescribed, medications are generally sent electronically shortly after the visit.
No. Sankofa Health & Wellness does not prescribe controlled substances.
Yes. Upload documents, lab results, and previous prescriptions directly through the patient portal before or during your visit. Have your medication bottles and pharmacy information ready.
