Parent / Guardian Consent Required — Ages 8–17

All pediatric patients ages 8–17 must have a parent or legal guardian present during the virtual visit. A parent or legal guardian must provide verbal or written consent before any clinical evaluation or treatment is initiated. By booking a pediatric visit, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of the minor patient and consent to virtual care on their behalf.

💳 Insurance & Membership

Pediatric visits are priced the same as adult visits — $75 per visit. Children qualify under their parent’s Sankofa Membership for discounted visit rates. Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield commercial insurance accepted for qualified pediatric visits. Please verify your child’s benefits before booking.

Booking a pediatric visit is simple

Book Your Visit
Parent books a pediatric visit online — choose the service and a convenient time slot.

Join the Virtual Visit
Parent and child join the video visit from any device. Parent provides verbal consent at the start of the visit.

Clinical Evaluation
Your provider evaluates your child’s symptoms, reviews history, and discusses treatment options with the parent.

Prescription & Plan
When clinically appropriate, prescriptions are sent to your preferred pharmacy. Treatment plan discussed with parent.

What to know before booking

🚨 When NOT to use virtual care

Please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room if your child experiences:

✕High fever with stiff neck or rash
✕Severe chest pain
✕Uncontrolled bleeding
✕Loss of consciousness or seizure
✕Suspected poisoning or overdose
✕Severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis)
